Regent Brass At The National Brass Band Championships Finals 2023

Following our 3rd place finish in the regional contest, on the 16th of September, Regent Brass headed to Cheltenham to take part in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain Finals in the 1st Section. Bugle Contest

On 17th June the band travelled for the first time to the village of Bugle in Cornwall to compete at the West of England Bandsmen’s Festival. Nestled in a picturesque location with a rich banding tradition surrounded by clay mines, this competition is one of the oldest still running today having inaugurated in 1912. UK Premiere at Premier Contest

Regent Brass continued a busy contest season last weekend when we participated in a brand new event. ‘ConsTest’ is a brand new competition for brass bands held at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire of Music, and was the brainchild of final year student Mikey Foley-Hall.
