Paul Archibald has announced that he will be relinquishing his day to day role as Musical Director of Regent Brass to teach in Thailand as Head of Woodwind and Brass, Shrewsbury International School, Bangkok. Paul will remain connected to the band as Musical Director Emeritus, and he plans to return to London frequently outside of term times.
Speaking about his impending departure, Paul said, “The six years I have spent as Musical Director of Regent Brass have been a real highlight in my career as a professional musician. The members of the band are a passionate and committed group of musicians and, with the residency at DLD College in Westminster and the recent partnership with the Geneva Group now in place, the future looks bright for this excellent band. I would like to thank the management and players of Regent Brass for their support throughout this period and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of the band in my new role as Musical Director Emeritus.”
Neil Rossiter, Chairman of Regent Brass said, “We would like to thank Paul for his commitment and dedication. He has had a big influence on the development of Regent Brass, we look forward to continuing the fruitful relationship between us.”
