Pre-Contest Performance Delivers!

As the house lights dim in The London College of Music‘s ‘Lawrence Hall’, two brass bands replicated some of the performance tensions associated with brass band contesting. Summer Trumpet Academy Kolbuszowa, Poland

Final preparations are underway for Regent Brass’s concert trip to Poland from July 7th to 11th.  The band are appearing as part of the Summer Trumpet Academy summer school in Kolbuszowa, where our MD Paul Archibald is one of the tutors.   The band have been invited to play in several concerts in formal and informal settings where we hope to demonstrate the versatility and traditions of British brass bands to the summer school attendees and local residents.
