On Friday 4th October, Regent Brass and Regent Community Brass hosted their regular Autumn concert on their home turf, at the Church of the Ascension in Wembley. On this particular occasion, the band were joined by soprano Tracy King, cellist Dani Teo and accompanist Li Lin Teo. On Saturday 7th September, Regent Community Brass performed at the Cancer Research UK “Relay for Life” event at the Bannister Stadium, Harrow. The event itself was set up as a “Family Fun Day” with a range of activities promoting healthy living and helping to raise money to aid the fight against beating cancer. Regent Community Brass performed their first engagement of the summer on Sunday 25th August on the South Bank. Performing in front of the Royal Festival Hall with the beautiful backdrop of the River Thames, the band played as part of the Southbank Centre’s “Village Fair” to a large and appreciative audience.
