As we prepare for our Regional Finals assault and beyond, Regent Brass are delighted to welcome several new players to our ranks who have joined in recent months.
Joining us on Principal Euphonium, we welcome Brian Le Tissier. Brian is well known to various members of the band, via his wind band connections with City of London Symphonic Winds as well as his previous Brass Band connections. Brian is an experienced soloist and brings solid leadership to our tenor section. In support of Brian, Steve Rongevær-Boother has moved to 2nd euphonium, re-establshing a successful section which had worked together previously with the Sandhurst band.
We are very happy to welcome Joey Gold to the band on Solo Baritone. Joey joined the band during the autumn of 2022 and quickly established his place in the section, getting promoted to the solo seat in January. Amongst other things, Joey has been heavily involved in the Unibrass brass band scene.
Finally, our tuba section is completed with the talents of Ed Fraser-Brown who joins us from Haverhill Band on Eb tuba. Ed is a student of the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) and is involved with a number of groups and initiatives while he studies there.
A huge welcome to all of our new members to the Regent family!
