Regent Brass are a British Brass Band, based at Chalk Farm, North London. Musical Director is Alan Duguid, and the band is currently in Section 1 of the National Grading Tables. We rehearse on Thursdays from 1930, at the Salvation Army church, Chalk Farm, NW3 2BL.

Regent Community Brass

Regent Community Brass was formed in May 2012 to provide an outlet for local musicians, both young and old, to get involved in playing with a brass band. The band rehearses on Tuesdays from 1930, at the Church of the Ascension, Wembley. The band competes in Section 3 of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

New Players

Regent Brass are pleased to announce the signing of the young trumpet and cornet star William Thomas on Principal Cornet.  A pupil at Orleans Park School, William began playing at the age of 8 and soon joined the Richmond Music Trust Brass Band under the band’s Flugel Horn player, Victoria Curran. Within 6 months Will took his first grade exams and gained his grade 8 with distinction at the age of 12. He currently studies at the Junior Guildhall School…

Remembrance Sunday 2013

On Sunday 10th November, both Regent Brass and Regent Community Brass participated in two different Remembrance Sunday services at two separate locations in London. Regent Community Brass joined forces with the Richmond Youth Brass Band to perform for the first time at the Radnor Gardens in Twickenham at what was a very well-attended event. Dorking – Arts Alive 2013

On Sunday 27th October, Regent Brass travelled down to Surrey for their annual “Brass Spectacular” concert with Mole Valley Silver Band. Held in the beautiful Dorking Halls, this event rounds off the popular “Arts Alive” festival and is a real highlight of the band’s calendar. On this occasion, the concert featured several works from the pen of Guiseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner, two composers who celebrate their bi-centenary in 2013.
