Regent Brass are a British Brass Band, based at Chalk Farm, North London. Musical Director is Alan Duguid, and the band is currently in Section 1 of the National Grading Tables. We rehearse on Thursdays from 1930, at the Salvation Army church, Chalk Farm, NW3 2BL.
Regent Community Brass was formed in May 2012 to provide an outlet for local musicians, both young and old, to get involved in playing with a brass band. The band rehearses on Tuesdays from 1930, at the Church of the Ascension, Wembley. The band competes in Section 3 of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
Regent Brass is set to expand their organisation next month, with the launch of their new ‘B’ band. Musical Director Alan Duguid:- After a great deal of discussion about ways to encourage brass playing within central London, we decided there was a real opportunity to establish another band in the area.
