On Saturday 7th September, Regent Community Brass performed at the Cancer Research UK “Relay for Life” event at the Bannister Stadium, Harrow. The event itself was set up as a “Family Fun Day” with a range of activities promoting healthy living and helping to raise money to aid the fight against beating cancer. At the opening of the event, members of the band performed a fanfare written by MD Alan Duguid, soon followed by a full-band performance at the centre of the running track of a wide range of music to the crowd.
The band were delighted to support this worthy cause and hope to do more for Cancer Research UK in the future. We would also like to thank the guests who performed with s on the day.
