On 18th May, members of Regent Community Brass joined forces with neighbouring band North London Brass to participate in a workshop led by conductor Alan Duguid, assisted by Regent solo horn, Martin Pearce.
The massed band spent the morning working on a range of pieces, including “The Standard of St George” by Kenneth Alford, “A Malvern Suite” by Philip Sparke and “Mid all the Traffic” by Leonard Ballantine, before putting on a short concert for family and friends in the afternoon.
The band and Alan thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with NLB and their director Martyn Stogden and hope to work with them again in the future
